\nDear Members of the Artificial Life community,\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThe International Society for Artificial Life (ISAL) is calling for \nproposals to host the International Conference on Artificial Life. We \nwill select two teams, one to organize ALife 2020 and one for ALife \n2021. We are making decisions for both years to expand our horizon for \nplanning the events and to allow local organizers more time to prepare. \n There are no firm geographic constraints on where the conference will \nbe held, although effort will be made to ensure that the conference \nmoves to different regions of the world each year.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nInterested parties should inform the ISAL Secretary (secretary@alife.org<\/a>) of their intention to submit a proposal as soon as possible. Proposals should be emailed to the ISAL Secretary by 1 June 2018<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nProposals are intended to be brief and to be used as a starting point \nfor further discussions with the ISAL board. A typical proposal will be\n 2-4 pages and include a high-level description of each of the following\n items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
